Exciting changes happening at the Apples Medical Centre
We’re pleased to share some exciting updates to our GP team and appointment availability.
Dr Lewis will be retiring from his partnership at the end of June, but we’re delighted that he will continue caring for patients as a salaried GP from Wednesday 3rd August, working Wednesdays and Fridays. This means you’ll still see a familiar face in the practice.
We are also thrilled to welcome our new salaried GP, Dr Hazel Robinson, who brings over 25 years of experience, along with her expertise as a GP Trainer. Dr Robinson will join us from Tuesday 7th July, and her regular days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
To ensure access throughout July, we have arranged two locum GPs who will be supporting the practice on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
From August, there will be further improvements to our rota:
- Dr Minton will be offering appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Dr Parsons will be available on Monday and Wednesday
These positive changes mean we will be able to offer more appointments, more choice of clinicians, and greater flexibility for our patients.
If you’d like help with booking an appointment or want to know more about GP roles or how rotas work, please contact reception.
